Lindsey Maddox

BIOGRAPHY
Lindsey become interested in music as a young child and some of her first memories are dancing to the Beatles in the kitchen with her mother. When she was 10, she convinced her mother to sign her up for piano lessons, and continued to study classical piano until she was 17. She learned classical guitar from John de Chiaro during a brief summer enrichment program and began the remainder of the learning on her own. She studied voice for a short time, but quit because she was repeatedly told she needed speech therapy She wrote her first songs at age 17, but it wasn't until moving to Austin at the beginning of 2008 that she decided to make her music available to the public. She has no performance plans, but will continue recording some in the studio this spring. Lindsey participated in the RPM challenge so she could broaden her reach and is still unsure what she will do with music in the future.
